Hey, just got Knoppmyth installed. To my suprise I have video at /dev/video0 without any configuration on the PVR-150 card. However, it's not perfect. I'm using the s-video input from a directv reciever and I get a black and white picture where it should be color. Also, on the audio I get loud static and can just barely here the audio from the satelite in the background. If I unplug the audio connector the static remains. I thought the PVR-150 was unsuported in the stable ivtv driver. Is that my problem right there? I tried building the beta drivers but got the error make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.11.9-chw-2/build: No such file or directory. Stop. that directory exists.. so... huh? |

ok... well figured out part of it. ran ldconfig and was able to build the beta driver and install it. Now I have color picture... but the sound is still all scratchy/staticy. |
