Ok I'm a complete noob to mythtv and i have a quick question. I'm looking for a good capture / tuner card for my setup, which cards work right out of the box with little or no configuration. If possible post links to the cards. If you want something that works right out of the box go with a PVR250 and a seperate video card. I didn't have to do anything to get it working other than the default install. |

As you can well imagine this is an FAQ. A search of the forums will find many threads on this topic and a search of the Wiki http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/ would turn up lots of information. The current answer is "most of them work and most of the newer ones take some minor fiddling". As you also might imagine, it's easy to get tired of answering FAQs and having them clutter up the forums, so please search first and ask questions later. Thanks... |
