I just got an ati remote wonder and i plugged it into my box and typed the add_ati_remote at su and i get the error message "command not found"

anyone know what i need to do or am doing wrong?

You don't need to use the old add_ati_remote script with R5 alpha as the support is built in to the kernel. Therefore the script is no longer there. You should be able to just plug it in and boot and have it work (to a degree).

where is a tutorial on how to remap the keys, i really only need an escape button on the remote
