My PVR-250 works great for watching/recording from the Tuner0, but when I try to connect a VCR to Composite1, nothing happens, even when I go to "Watch TV" and press "C" - it tries to switch but goes right back to Tuner0.
My system is as follows:
PVR-250 (/dev/video1)
ATI TV Wonder VE (/dev/video0)

I know the composite video and vcr are working because I can see the video when I plug it into the ATI TV Wonder, but I really want to record with the PVR-250. Any ideas why I can't get composite1 to work?
Here's the output of ivtvctl -n
Code:
ioctl: VIDIOC_ENUMINPUT
   Input   : 0
   Name    : Television
   Type    : 0x00000001
   Audioset: 0x00000001
   Tuner   : 0x00000000
   Standard: 0x00000000007F3FFF ( PAL NTSC SECAM )
   Status  : 0

   Input   : 1
   Name    : Composite1
   Type    : 0x00000002
   Audioset: 0x00000001
   Tuner   : 0x00000000
   Standard: 0x00000000007F3FFF ( PAL NTSC SECAM )
   Status  : 0

Here's my /etc/mythtv/modules/ivtv:
Code:
#This worked after installing the newest version of ivtv
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81 ivtv
alias char-major-61 lirc_i2c
#options ivtv debug=1
#options tuner type=2
options msp3400 once=1 simple=1
install ivtv /sbin/modprobe tuner; /sbin/modprobe msp3400; /sbin/modprobe saa7115;  /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install  ivtv
remove ivtv /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove ivtv && /sbin/modprobe -r saa7115 && /sbin/modprobe -r msp3400 && /sbin/modprobe -r tuner

Thanks!
Mark

Did you setup the input in mythtv-setup? If you search the mythtv archive, you'll find lots of input on setting up a VCR.
