Ive been using knoppmyth to play movies and web/news/weather etc: until payday. I am putting in a pvr 150 card. Since I have never had a tv card in myth, will it recognise it and set the propper settings or will I have to do an auto-update from the cd? I already have a Direct TV tivo, so I will just be using it to record and burn from the tivo recordings. ( Iknow..like using a jackhammer to work on a watch...but Knoppmyth worked so well out of the box.

Myth doesn't auto recognize any tuner card. You have to configure it. Just install the card and KnoppMyth should see it. However there is currently no out the box support for the PVR -150. You'll have to follow one of the howtos here or on the wiki.
