Post subject:  stupid question about IRDA Devices

Hey i found these on the net and they are cheap USB IRDA devices that are on sale this week, free shipping and i was about to buy one, but just want to make sure these will work with Myth.. as i always have used the onboard ones that come with the PVR250's and 150's ... any ideas on if these will work? Thanks!

StreamZap Remote comes with a USB dongle and you can get it to work with KnoppMyth with a little work.

I think those usb adapters in the link you mentioned are for like syncing with your Palm or such.

I noticed that my streamzap dongle actually receives signals from other remotes I have (you can see the red light come on).

I'm not really sure what you're trying to do, however.
