Post subject:  Pleasseee!, How to install airstar usb in linux?
Hi everyone!

I'm very new in linux and in this forum. I have read that airstar usb is supported with the new kernel 2.6.13. I have recompiled my kernel with the support but I can't use my airstar. :oops:

I would like to know if more steps are necessaries to install my airstar and if someone say me where to find a mini how-to or something to help me.

Welcome to the forum and to Linux!

In general, when you run into a problem of the form "I can't get Foo to work" you need to provide some information about what exact steps you took (links to documentation, instructions, etc.) to get Foo to work. You need to say what you did to verify that Foo was not working. Were there command-line tests you ran to diagnose it at all, or did you just test it at the MythTV level?

People can't own every piece of hardware out there, but enough of us have general debugging skills and can help once we know more about your particular situation. It's your job to provide the information we can use to help you.

Now, where did you read about the airstar usb being supported? It's best to start there.
