Well this is my first post with a question I couldn’t find an answer to in the forums by searching or by myself. So heir goes Pleas read my hole post before replying. I am running R5A16 1.1gp CPU 256 ram 160gb HD with DMA TURNED ON PVR150+remote+IR blaster Gforce 5200 Soundblaster16 My problem is whenever my pvr150 is capturing content be it live TV or prerecorded there is a problem. Whenever the screen fades to black thing get choppy and the recording fall back from the 3 second delay. This only and I repeat only happened when there is a lot of black on the screen. The screen needs to be 70% or more black for it to get choppy. When moor color is on the screen again it goes away. So for example on G4TTV the have a black screen then two plugs join together with the channels logo. This is very choppy video and sound. But when a full color add starts after everything works fin. The PPV move million dollar baby their are parts that the screen is black and their is just talking. This is very choppy but everything ells is fine when the screen is no longer black. This only happens on capturing off TV. DVD and downloaded moves work just fine. I have the latest IVTV drivers installed 3.8 I used these instructions to do it. http://knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=CompileIvtv I have DMA enabled on my hard drive and it is only 40% full. I am capturing from s-video from my digital cable box and a soundblaster16 for sound. I capture with the pvr150 and playback with the gforce 5200. I have the gforce drivers installed that shipped with R5A16 |

well according to this thread it looks like you are not alone, and only one suggestion to turn on extra audio buffering, but no confirmation of success or failure. |

Thanks for the prompt and exact answer. Now why couldn’t I find that? I hate asking questions that there are answers to. But thanks again for taking the time to find that post and point me to it. I will test it out. |
