Thinking of replacing the cdrw in my knoppmyth box with a dual layer dvd writer....

Id like one thats
a) fast
b) quiet
c) multi-region
d) cheap
e) knoppmyth compatible

can anyone recommend something that fits this bill ?

I have a liteon in my main pc which im fairly happy with.

What are the implications of changing the optical drive for knoppmyth ...
will doing this cause any problems ?

The NEC drives (3450?) are cheap (<$50) and get lots of good reviews.

Not that I can think of, as long as their both IDE devices.
