I have the following hardware configuration: ASUS A7V600-X Rosewill GeForce FX5200 250 GB hard drive Light-on DVD-RW PVR-250 Running R5A16 The problem is introduced when I install the nvidia driver. TV hangs immediately. I tried both drivers. If I were not to install the nvidia driver TV works fine. Has anyone else seen a similar problem? Any ideas to what the problem could be? I have also tries a second video card with similar results. Has anyone successfully installed using the ASUS A7V600-X? Thanks, Mike G. |

Define Quote: TV hangs immediately. Is the system hooked up to a TV? Does MythTV not respond? Does the system lock up?

Have you checked your XF86-config file? Make sure that it's setup for the nvidia card. Knoppmyth provides an nvidia example config and i've found it works just fine for me. |
