Has anyone tried using an AMD 50x15 PIC for a KnoppMyth frontend?

It's supposed to have TV out and looks small and quiet. I believe they are available in some countries for less that $200 US. RadioShack sells them in the US for $250 after rebate. There's info at: http://www.amdboard.com/pic.html .

I'm not sure how you'd get Linux installed on one. There is Geode processor Linux drivers at: http://www.amd.com/us-en/ConnectivitySo ... 63,00.html , but I'm still too new to Linux to know what to do with them.

Interesting. I hadn't yet heard of that box. It looks liek a frog. The dealbreaker for me:

"Additionally, the SC1201 processor has Macrovision copy protection."

Oh well.

Then again, many of the new video cards have Macrovision built in anyways.
