Any luck with this? I'm in the same boat, as I've got MCE with the 3610, but want to move to linux/mythtv. I've had little to no luck, as it seems there are no drivers for this outside of windows

I have got this tuner with my laptop, and put it on an MCE system and it is very very nice. I'm curious where (if at all) I can find drivers or if it will work with MythTV. MCE is ok but there are many features on MythTV that are much nicer, so if possible I would really like to switch back to Myth again. here's a link to a little info: http://www.gizmodo.com/archives/adaptec ... 025034.php |

I'm not asking to be ridiculed, just chill out. I'm asking if someone has more experiance with this than I do. If someone has tried this and has has success or failure, maybe they can help me or give me a head start to figure out what I need to do. I'm not asking anybody to google for me. |

I'm certainly not trying to ridicule you. It is is a simple statement of fact. If you'd have stated Hey, anyone know anything about hardware xyz? I've checked Google and/or blah blah blah site.... I wouldn't have responsed. But when you simply ask a question about something no one knows anything about (at least I know nothing of your device), of course you'd expect someone to say Google. |
