i just got a new computer that i have been working on... i tried to install windows xp which worked ok... but i was never able to get the tv to work properly.... now when i start the computer the video is off no matter what settings i make to the bios... i have yet to update the bios.... i did buy this computer from newegg as a refab... a factory refab... everything seems to work fine on the computer except on the video... i have a 2.2 gig sempron a single 512 meg ram and a 200gig hd this is the motherboard http://www.soltek.de/soltek/product/qbi ... _st=EQ3704 any help would be nice... oh... the video in linux is also off... i can see the middle of the screen but the bottom and left side is cut off... and my screen says that it's on the right config... a 17in flat screen thanks |

also i forgot to say that i have the wintv 250.... i will look for commands for config for the video card and other stuff... just dont have the time right now... is there a way that i can find out what kind of video card there is... |

I don't know too much about these boards but from what you have said there is a new driver available from VIA http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=420&OSID=20&CatID=2260&SubCatID=102 This may provide some more info |
