Fist, I'd like to say that I'm over budget on this MythTV project as it is, so I'm not planning to buy a new tuner any time soon, so please no responses telling me to go out and get a PVR-150 or something like that. I plan to do something like that in the future, but not now.

I'm using KnoppMyth R5A27 on an AMD Athlon 850 MHz and 256 MB of RAM. The capture card is an ATI TV-Wonder VE (Identified as a BookTree 878 chipset). So far, I've managed to go from nothing but green with some static along the top by chaing the video device from /dev/video0 to /dev/video but now I need to fine tune the video.

All the channels are off by some kind of off-set. Is there any way to use MythTV's "Live TV" function to work with the off-set rather than just switing to MythTV-Setup then back to MythFrontend? And is there any way to mass-edit the channel off-sets (finetuning)? Or some kind of alternative to manually editing all seventy one channels through MythTV-Setup?

Well I hope you're not running R5A27 since I'm not aware of Cecil ever releasing any such version. So the question becomes is this R5A22 or R5A26?

If you search the forums for posts by me that contain the words "mysql", "channels" and "finetune" (make sure to click the "search for all terms" button and put my handle in the "search for author" box!), you should find some example code which shows how to do a batch update of this. Beware that the code was written for a VERY specific case. The easiest way to test finetune settings is using the mythweb interface at: http://YOURIPADDRESSHERE/mythweb/settings_channels.php
