Hi, am hoping to build a box using a hauppauge 250 tuner card. I would like to get a vid card with component outs preferably, if not then s-video.(Perhaps it wouldn't be a noticeable difference on my set, a samsung 27" 1080i tube tv, but it would be nice for future tv set upgrades which are around the corner). I was looking at the XGI Volari V3XT on newegg, but read a few problems here posted earlier in the year due to drivers only supporting specific kernels and other things. Does anyone have any experience with this card working now?

Can anyone recommend a card that works with mythtv and isnt super expensive for this purpose? I have an AGP slot and PCI of course, but not PCI-E. Thanks!

XGI is supposed to be releasing their drivers as open source soon, but for now I would stay away from these cards.

some nvidia 6200 and 6600 cards have component outputs.
