) PVR-350 that came with the old packaging & remote then the cards onboard features should provide the same resulting output/quality ?

hi, I'm looking at getting one of these cards. Are there any downfalls of the PVR 350's with the old remote. Apart from the newer remote with more buttons, what does the latest PVR-350 card have over the previous releases. I've searched but found nothing specific. Thanks |

Different remote with more buttons, possibly a different tuner/chip. Featurewise they should be idenitcal. |

Yes. Unless it's a really, really old one. Like zeroth generation. |

There's a webpage around with a PVR beastiary, that has pictures and chip versions which you can use as a field guide for identifying PVR cards. That may even be the name/title of it. |
