Post subject:  repeat commands with iMON-PAD remote and LC10-M

I have an LC10M with the VFD/IR reciever built in, it connects via USB and luckily there is a driver available at http://venky.ws/projects/imon/

My VFD and IR seems to work fine, except for one issue, filtering out duplicate commands. I have tried filtering these out with my lircrc file, I've tried hundreds of combinations of delay= and repeat= anywhere from 0 to 100. With no avail, I can only get the pad keys to work properly.

Upon checking out this problem on a lower level with irw. I noticed with the keys, such as AppExit or Enter, that I'm having getting duplicate commands processed that the counter dosent seem to increment properly.

Example, here is a single press of AppExit..

00000000288195b7 00 AppExit iMON-PAD
00000000288195b7 00 AppExit iMON-PAD

Here is a Press and hold of AppExit.. (notice the 00 at the end too)

00000000288195b7 00 AppExit iMON-PAD
00000000288195b7 00 AppExit iMON-PAD
00000000288195b7 00 AppExit iMON-PAD
00000000288195b7 01 AppExit iMON-PAD
00000000288195b7 02 AppExit iMON-PAD
00000000288195b7 03 AppExit iMON-PAD
00000000288195b7 00 AppExit iMON-PAD

And here is what it should look like using the Up key....

00000000690281b7 00 Up iMON-PAD
00000000690281b7 01 Up iMON-PAD
00000000690281b7 00 Up iMON-PAD
00000000690281b7 01 Up iMON-PAD
00000000690281b7 02 Up iMON-PAD
00000000690281b7 03 Up iMON-PAD

So, why do 99 percent of the keys respond like this, and a few behave properly?

Is there anything else I can try to get this to work, with out having to fight my remote control.

Thanks for the time,

Tony
