I've installed Knoppmyth and all three of my DVB-T tuners work (excellent!) and tuned in all the UK channels, which is firther than i have got when trying this out with FC4.
The part i'm stuck at now is getting a remore working. I have a serial IR sensor i would like to use from http://www.zapway.de/ and a Sky+ Navigator remote which i've found config files for at http://www.hippoit.co.uk/mythtv/
How can i get Knoppmyth/lirc to use the serial IR and these config files?
Other than trying to get MythTV up and running i have pretty much no linux experience, so it's all extremely confusing
