| Post subject: | WinTV Nova-T problem |
I have set up a knoppmyth box with 4 WinTV Nova-T cards in and was attempting to set up another exact replica. However, I cannot get this second box to work, and I think the problem is with the new Nova-t cards. I have been using R5A30.1 and everything works until I try tuning to a transport, when the signal locks, but no channels are found. The cards in the first box were of the newer Nova-T type with a Conexant Broadcast Decoder chip CX23882-19 The newer cards are identical except that the Decoder chip is type CX23882-39 An lspci gives Code: 0000:00:06.0 Multimedia video controller: Conexant Winfast TV2000 XP (rev 05) for each card
0000:00:06.2 Multimedia controller: Conexant: Unknown device 8802 (rev 05) 0000:00:06.4 Multimedia controller: Conexant: Unknown device 8804 (rev 05) I can't find anything about this change or anybody with similar problems on the web at all. Any ideas? |

You should be able to safely ignore the lspci, the same thing occurs with the pcHDTV 2/3000. |
