I have an ultraview plus dvb-t card, which apparently is a rebadged DVICO plus card. Except that it doesn't get detected, on doing some hunting around, i came across this. Quote: It's ok... I just worked it out. I got my hands on an Ultraview HDTV DVB-T Plus, which is just a rebadged DVICO Plus.
Turns out my problem was the driver was not identifying the card properly. Added card=21 as an option when loading the driver, and whalla! Just need to work out how to tune the bloody thing now. ![]() How do i actually do this, is it a config file in /etc i edit or is there more to it then that.. Regards Glen |

Try adding these lines to /etc/mythtv/modules/bttv Code: alias char-major-81 cx88-dvb
options cx88xx card=21 (Got this partially from http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replie ... 306387&p=2 ) |

woo hoo, the card now seems to be detected and appears in mythtv.. Now another snag, when i go into mythtv it says all available cards are being used, so i hunted around and found a scan for channels, when i choose to schan for channels, it just sits there doing nothing.. After a while, i get the error "Error tuning to transport" any ideas? |
