I just got my R5A30.2 brandspankingnew box running. Knoppmyth R5A30.2 Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939 Athlon 64 3200+ Venice Core 2 x 512 RAM - Kingston DDR PC2700 Gigabyte GV-N52128DS GeForce FX 5200 Hauppauge PVR-350 Hauppauge PVR-250 Hauppauge PVR-250 Maxtor 300GB IDE ( IDE0 Master ) WD 250GB SATA ( SATA1 Master ) TDK DVD Burner ( IDE0 Slave ) I can see the Myth menus / watch Live TV ONLY if I plug the composite video from my GeForce FX5200. My 350 (as most 350's I would guess...) has a little rat-tail that I can connect RED & WHITE audio into my TV, and the SVIDEO to plug into my TV. If I hook it up this way (with no other audio / video) cables hooked into my computer, I only get a black screen - on any of the "input" settings on my TV. However, if I plug in the composite video from my GeForce FX 5200, I can see video / menus / watch live tv (with no sound, unless I plug in the little adapter and plug in my RED & WHITE audio cables. I want to watch Live TV / navigate MythTV through the 350, obviously. I guess my question is how do I tell mythtv which card I watch live tv with? If I change the order of the cards in the PCI slots, and reinstall, will it work? I'd rather not reinstall (again!). Any insight would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Andy |

The search feature is your friend. There is a large thread about this in the hints/tips section: look here. Also there are instructions on http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/. |
