I am looking to replace the motherboard and chassis of my MythTV box, and came across the website for nMediaPC. It seems that NewEGG is selling their gear, and it looks interesting.

Anyone know anything about compatibility and reliability of these when it comes to Myth?

I'm using one of their 100 HTPC cases with my A8N-VM CSM motherboard.

Nice an quiet, and a good on features. Sadly can't get the remote and keyboard here in NZ, and I haven't been able to find the code so that my universal remote can use the built in IR sensor yet.

Little tight if you want to fit two IDE devices as the cables will have quite a stretch. If you are using SATA you won't have any problems.

Media reader shows up as 4 scsi devices under Linux.

Only problem is with large DVD/CD units and large heatsinks. That can be a little too cozy. Stock AMD fan fits ok, and i'm going to change the FAN to a Thermaltake quiet one.

Just curious, have you tried to get the Media reader to work, I tried for a couple of days, then just threw in the towel.

What is the issue with the media reader. To be honest I haven't tried it yet, but it does show up as a series of SCSI devices.
