I recently bought the SolidTek ACK-571 Wireless PS2 (IR) keyboard from the link below, and have been generally happy with it, but I'm having a couple of rather annoying issues.

1) I bought it to have a programmable remote "learn" the commands from the keyboard. I had a learning remote that came with my Harmon Kardon receiver, but it wouldn't learn any of the keystrokes, so I bought a OneForAll URC-8910. It doesn't seem to be too happy learning the keystrokes either. Occasionaly, I can get it to learn a key if I hold it down, but then the key is repeating, so the button press on the remote sends the same keypress 3 or 4 times. It hasn't been able to learn the key if I just press and quickly release a key. I just get an [ERROR] display on the remote. Has anyone had any luck having a remote learn keys from this keyboard, and if so, what was your trick?

2) All of they keys work fine in an xterm on my myth box, and they all work in most myth apps (TV, Music, Video, etc), but when I run MythTV's web browser, many of the keys don't work... for instance, the "I" key, the "R" key, and several others. Any ideas what would cause this?
