Ok got a new pvr-500. Got the new ivtv 4.2 drivers working. So i tested recording (have 2 other pvr-250's in there). 3 work perfect, 1 has crappy pictured. I've figured it out that it's one of the pvr-500's tuners. Crappy picture=almost like interferance. Should i try just the pvr-500 in a middle pci slot by itselfand see if it's interference, or has anyone else had this problem, or is it more likely a bad tuner.

I just installed a samsung based pvr500 and had to upgrade to the 4.2 drivers. I also left one of my original 150's in the box. The 150 had the crappy signal you described, although it worked perfectly before the upgrade. I only need 2 tuners so I just pulled it out. I can't say for certain that it wasn't just a bad cable going to that tuner. That said, I would remove your 250's and see of the 500 cleans up it's act. Trying different pci slots isn't a bad idea either, as irq sharing can be hard to track down.
