I planing to build a myth PC, and would like to know witch Tuner card to go for(PVR-350/PVR-500 ?), and how to connect the setup. Im planing a setup, witch involves a small LCD panel, witch takes DVI or VGA - at same time I would like to connect a LCD projector - asuming this will be through a SVHS cable....not shure though. I would like a setup where I shouldnt switch cables, and more or less could easyly switch form "output 1" to "output 2" and back.... The LCD panel wil be the main output source, and will be using for daily TV viewing, while the projector should be used while playing DVD or movies from HD. Would it be wisse to buy a PVR 350, and connect the LCD panel to the DVI on the grafic card, and then connect the LDC projector on the 350's SVHS out ? how does one handle the switch from one output to the other ? |

it doesn't, so no that is not a good solution. I doubt you will find a "good" solution, but I'm sure someone can come up with some sort of hack for you. |

Thanks for your reply. I then asume I will need to connect both to VGA / DVI, witch makes PVR-350 not using the HW decoder (only availble from the SVHS output)...so I should select another TV card (maybe PVR 500 ? ) sad to hear, as I could use wireless transmission of the SVHS) All I then would need to do is a looooong VGA cabel from the PC to the LCD panel, and further extend this to the LCD projector (The PC is be located in another room, therefor long cabel are needed) any comments |
