I've been using JP1 remotes for quite a while, and I am familiar with using all the JP1 tools to extend the remote's functionality to control more devices. I currently have my URC-6131 PVR Remote set up to emulate the FusionHDTV controller, and I'm using the FusionHDTV USB IR receiver. This works fine, although there are several buttons that I could map to other IR codes, and control more functions on MythTV.

But, rather then re-inventing the whole process, I thought I would ask here first, to see if someone else has already done this.
So, does anyone have recommendations, or even config files, for a good MythTV config with JP1+lircd?


My current config is actually pretty close to what I want. The only issues I need to resolve are:
- Lircd doesn't recognize any IR signals other than the Fusion IR codes. I would like to be able to receive other IR codes, and perhaps have different commands associated with the DVD IR commands.
- I need to select another device config for the JP1 which has IR codes available for all the keys on the remote. This would be easy if I could solve the first issue, making the IR receiver recognize any code.

I used a JP1 modified URC-6131 with the "Extender" code on it. You can do some cool stuff running the extender. I have my URC-6131 emulating a Hauppauge PVR150 remote, so my config wouldn't do much for you.
