I didn't succeed in installing my tv card. At boot, knoppmyth recognize a multimedia unknown device :
conexant: unknown device 8800 (rev 05)

I try to configure /etc/mythtv/modules/bttv :
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81 bttv
options bttv card=34 radio=1 tuner=2 gbuffers=8
options tuner debug=1 type=2

And xawtv tell me can't open video0: no such device

Any idea ?

search the forums. Quick answer is that the expert card is not supported.

There are some alpha level drivers which are linked in the other post, but I don't think any of us here have attempted to use them, so you might not get too much help if you go that route.
