Hello, I searched for anything on this brand of tuner card, does anyone know if they work with KnoppMyth or how good/bad the video quality is? The "Pro" version supports mpeg 4 encoding but I don't think its hardware mpeg4. I can'ttell from the documentation. Thanks, Popa Tim |

Nevermind. I manage to find a few more honest reviews and these are very poor cards indeed... |

I'm using a Norwood digital/analog card on a WinXP setup with its proprietary software. It's buggy but workable. I use it with a KWORLD composite video output, mostly to watch PBS HDTV content OTA, content that would otherwise be unavailable to me. I noticed that the card (right below the input/output jacks on he plate) has "VP3250" stamped there. Similar, it seems, to the Twinham VP3250, which has BDA drivers etc. Photos I've seen of the Twinhan looks nearly identitcal to the Norwood card. If someone could get the Twinhan VP3250 DTV ter card to work with knoppmyth, perhaps this solution would apply to a Norwod digital/analog card as well? I haven't installed knoppmyth yet, I want to learn more about it before persuing it. But wondering about the Norwood/Twinhan similarities, that's all... |

I recently purchased a Norwood Micro Digital/Analog PCI Tuner card from CompUSA and can confirm mine is a Twinhan VisionPlus Model VP-3250. |
