Post subject: | Nvidia Mx4000! help and Suggestions! |
I am currently using a mx4000 and i notice the svideo out quality is kinda dull. is this some thing i can tweak to fix? or would i be better off buying an fx5200? would i be better off look for some thing with composite out? i do notice that when i burn to dvd it shows much better quality. any one have any suggestions? does any one have a card that provides them with an output that actually resembles regular cable quality? Thanks for any input. |

I found that, an FX5200 gave me better results than a MX4 (Geforce2 IGP), that with the MX4 correcting the gamma was key too getting anything like decent output, and that even with the FX5200 640x480 gives a much better picture than 800x600. |

![]() Works just like 5200 from all I've heard. KnoppMyth R5B7 is still using the 7174 version of the Nvidia driver due to various known issues with the 8xxx series, but all you have to do is run the script with the version you want as an argument to instal 8178 or the like. Search for more detail on that too. |
