My parents have been running a myth box for a few months now, using a Red-Eye serial cable to control an NTL Pace STB.

Unfortunately, NTL have decided to replace the STB with a new Samsung model which doesn't work with the red eye cable.

Instead this box apparently just needs a standard IR blaster.

Therefore I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a cheap cable that is available in the UK.
The one from http://www.irblaster.info/ seems like the right type of thing but this is US based. Does anyone have any experience ordering from here for the UK? Does it work OK?

Ideally I would like a cable that works as simply as the red eye one (ie without using lirc so I don't have to worry about breaking the remote), but from what I've read I probably wont be that lucky!
