Hi there, I plan to upgrade one of my clients with an extra tuner card. At the moment, all tuner cards physically reside in the MasterBackEnd, so no problem at all Is there a way to tell the MasterBackEnd after installing the new card a) to use the newly added tuner card for LiveTV/Recordings on the BackEnd the card is physically attached to, only b) not to use the newly added card for Recordings unless requested from that BackEnd. The reason for asking: I just want to make sure that my wife cannot switch off the BackEnd (the hard ![]() |

I one card is not avable ( LiveTV/Recordings , system has been powered down ) then the MasterBackEnd will use the next avable card ( with limits of LiveTV/Recordings) |

Ok, but this only applies as long as the recording is actually scheduled and not yet running. I was talking about a recording requested from another client and already in progress on the machine in "women danger zone". If power is then shut down, the recording will be lost. That's why I want to fixly assign the card in client to the client and to prevent stray recordings on the client requested from all over my internal net... |
