Well, I guess my backup plan is to use a vga to tv converter. Does anyone have any experience with one of these? How's the quality? |

You can always build one. All you need to do is find a 4 pin svideo female plug and then solder 4 wires onto it and then connect those four wires to the correct pins on you motherboard. It shouldn't be too dificult to find the correct posion for each of the wires by doing an interntet search and then matching those up with the pin out description in you motherboard manual. |

Ok one more question. This picture seems to indicate that there are a couple of resistors on the board. PIC: http://images10.newegg.com/productimage ... 211-03.JPG I'll wire either one (Svid or Comp), it doesn't matter much to me, whichever is easier, but I think it may be a bit out of my range electronically speaking... |

Here is a link to the pinouts http://www.hut.fi/Misc/Electronics/circ ... video.html it also gives you a simple schematic for converting svideo to composit video. I believe all of the extra components are nothing more than a more complex form of the svideo to composit video circuit. (If someone reads this and know that I am wrong then please educate all of us.) |
