Hi, I have just tested the R5B7 release. My purpose was to se if this release is better than my current Gentoo release. When loading the ivtv-fb module (for the PVR350 card) the normal Console does write out a lot of ivtv information and then the console freezes. Í can't do anything anything in the any of the Consoles but everything in X window is working. Is this a ivtv driver issue or is it knoppmyth? Cheers, |

Try a Ctl-Alt -F2 A Ctl-Alt-F7 will switch you back to X. |

Not sure. That is how my pvr-350 has always operated. Once I was in X on the TV I lost all control over the videocard on the monitor. |
