I took out my hard disk running knoppmyth r5. It's r5a15 i think. I have Hauppauge pvr-250 on pentium 4 1500Mhz. I have been using it for a year or so.

I put in another hard disk and did a clean install of r5b7.

It says the error message in the subject line:
could not open /dev/video0 to probe it's inputs

This occurs in mythtv-setup.

Any ideas how to resolve this? If it works with the one installation why not this one??

I did say tuner card model in my post, but here is a larger list.

Hardware:
Intel Pentium 4 1500 Mhz , Abit-BL7 motherboard,
Computer system Purchased everchannel.com approx Sept2002.
-592Mb ram
-20 GB PATA drive for hda for Knoppmyth
-160 GB PATA drive
-WD Caviar SE EIDE 200 GB Hard Drives ( WD2000JB ) PATA Dec2004
-hauppauge PVR 250, purchased July2004 with grey remote
-ethernet card
-Nvidia FX5200 AGP 128mb video card

I put in the other HD, ran autoinstall, it went into post-install by itself, I tried to set up all the stuff like the other running setup I have and it won't 'keep' the "video source" [if i have the terminology right. i don't have it running in front of me right now to get the exact wording]
