I was happily running a KWorld 115 ClearQAM card & getting what I can from comcast. Now I have the comcast pace DC50X DTA box which should give me a lot more channels via its RF-out. So I have added a PVR-150 & connected it to the DTA box. I have defined both capture cards on my SBE. I also have them both pointing to the same Schedule Direct listings source (& SD doesn't let you add comcast twice).

But when I run mythfilldatabase I see the following error:

Quote:

Can't mix analog and digital tuning information.
2010-06-12 20:41:41.175 SourceUtil::IsProperlyConnected(): Source ID 1 appears to be connected

I'm guessing this is why I have no new channels connected to my new tuner (I still have just teh clearqam ones from the original tuner)? How do I get my extra cable channels to appear? I also tried "fetch channels from listings source" but it didn't seem to do anything.

I found an old (2008) MythTV bug that doesn't allow the addition of the same listings source to two different inputs, which is what I was doing. Workaround is to choose an adjacent zip code for your listing. I did that and now it works, although not all channels are exactly the same. Oh well, I can manually tweak it.

I'm not clear on what the problem is? Almost every one with two tuners has them pointing at the same Schedules Direct listing so I'm not sure why you are getting that error or found that post.

I have an analog card and a QAM card what I did was I made a "broadcast" lineup on SD and got all the local channel info. Then I scanned for the channels, figured out which one was which, and matched the xmltv ID numbers. I would suggest doing this on prime time and not at 3 am when 4 channels are running the same infomercial (I had channels mixed up for about a week).

I hope that helps.
