On my R6 frontend only I visited the "system type" submenu and saw that the system type was show Standalone. Because I was just looking around, I navigated to the cancel button and hit enter. Immediately an install started. I didn't know what to do so I just let it run, and run and run for several hours. SSH was already running and so I ended up rebooting. The fe was hosed. Somewhat similar: http://knoppmyth.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=20507 It just so happens that I had originally installed the frontend only to a 8GB drive that was very noisy and so I cloned it to a 40GB which is the one that got hosed. I'll reclone and should be back. |

Did you make a flyspray task on this? The forums are a poor bug tracking tool. |
