Just saw cesman's post with instructions about upgrading to LinHES 6.02.

Do those of us who installed a SVN version of MythTV (in order to get VDPAU working, for instance) use the same steps? Or do we have to do something else?

To be specfic, I followed this guide back when it came out:

http://knoppmyth.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=20650

Thanks. Just don't want to screw anything up.

If you don't want to keep following testing, you can change your repos back to the standard locations. Now would be a good time to do so, since they are basically in sync and will start to diverge from here on. Otherwise, I don't believe any action is required... you are already running the latest.

There might be some package tweaks to make (to be identical to 6.02). Maybe Cecil can chime in if this is the case.

Do I have to manually do a "sudo pacman -R mythtv-svn mythtv-extras-svn" when switching repos back or will the 6.02 script handle that for me?

Thanks for the reply. I'll change repos back to normal and give it a shot.

If you followed the instructions in my post you reference, then you have already removed the svn packages and replaced them with 0.22-fixes. If not, then you are probably still running trunk (pre-0.23) and your database will not be compatible (ie-no going back to 0.22) if you have updated recently (pacman -Syu).

Not sure what I was thinking -- yes I did follow those directions so I should be running 0.22-fixes. (Is there a pacman command I can type to confirm that?)
