I just rebuilt my linhes box -- clean install, on same hardware, because I was getting weird drops on the video. Now the video records perfectly and the audio is in the file when I pull the file to another machine, or move it to the /myth/video directory, or symlink to the /myth/pretty to /myth/video directory. However, if i just try and play the file from the recordings section about every 10seconds the audio will drop out for 3-5seconds, works fin for 10, drops again. I am using OSS and VPDAU. Any thoughts on where to begin looking? the audio is definitely in the file, just a playback issue. Thanks for all the help, one of these days I might learn enough to figure this out on my own. . . |

Turns out when I rebuilt the box, I had set vpdau to normal, simply setting to "slim" appears to have made the issue go away. Why I was getting audio issues and not video issues. |
