| Post subject: | Skipping commericials for no reason |
I have been finding since updating to R6.04 that in most (not all) that for some reason my program will skip ahead, anywhere between 5 and 6 minutes as if it detected a commerical, however this is nothing anywhere remotely like a commercial near where it skips. Anyone got any thoughts on this, it is really effecting the WAF of the system. Thanks |

I've seen the system seem to autoskip "commercials" on it's own too. It only seems to happen on certain shows that have been commercial flagged but not stripped. It's bit annoying when the commercial flagging isn't on target. I'm guessing that there is a property setting (and related behavior change) involved. Possibly AutoCommercialSkip, I'd try turning that off. On a related note, I've been meaning to turn off AutoCommflagWhileRecording which can make watching anything while a show is recording painful. |

BTW - Verified that these do indeed control the behaviors mentioned. AutoCommercialSkip=0 Don't skip without real cut lists. AutoCommercialSkip=1 Yes, skip whatever the comflag guesses AutoCommercialSkip=2 No but shows commercial detected dialog |

As a test I have set my Commercials to not detect during record, I have left the Auto skip at 1 for the moment to see how it goes. Thanks TJC for the database entries. |
