This error:

generated 1.6 TB of log files and crashed the application. I searched the forum and found I am not the first to experience this issue:

I am wondering if anyone has been able to identify and resolve the root cause of the fuppes error. In the future, I would like to use Fuppes, so I would like to have options other than removing it.

Yes, that's a typo. It should be GB.

Maybe fuppes is still hanging around from earlier installs, as last week from I upgraded from 6.04 to 7.1 and I had similar problems until I uninstalled fuppes.
