Ok just installed 7.1. Everything works, I think. But when I try to connect over the network, it's not taking the password. I KNOW I set up the right password. I even set the flag to permit connecting via root over the network. On the menu, user accounts tells me I don't have access. I was hoping it would permit me to create a new account. Tell me I don't need to reinstall linhes to fix this. |

Holy fsck! That worked! I'd read that thread before but assumed it wouldn't work for me because I had set an actual root password. I assumed it would make me type in the original before I could change it! Thanks! You saved me having to reinstall it all! |
