Post subject: | R7.1 New install and HDPVR |
I just finished a new install of R7.1. Setup when fine but when My HDPVR goes to record the record light goes on and off 7 or 8 times before starting to record. It looks like it is trying to get a sample of video or audio. I have it setup with component video and RCA audio. Are there any setup things I need to change? Thanks Dave |

Not that I can think of. Mine has worked without modification for a couple of years now. On start of recording the HDPVR goes on then off then goes on and stays on. The only difference from your config is my audio which comes in digitally. |

How are you channel changing? If you don't have a delay at the end of your channel changing script, you might try that. That worked for me. I'm using the 6200ch firewire executable to change channels so I created a script to run channel changing executable and added 'sleep 2' at the end. Then changed Myth to run the script instead of the executable directly. If you're already running a channel changing script, try adding that to the end of it. I think that has Myth give the STB a little more time to change the channel before trying to lock in the recording. |
