So my MBE borked today. I had to do a fresh install, but was able to recover recordings and backups as of a couple days ago. I run the mythrestore command but get to the point below and it just hangs. Any suggestions would be helpful as my-sql-foo is very weak... TIA

Starting the DB restore, this can take a while...
Clearing out the existing skeleton...
Recreating the db...

"Hung" for how long? If your DB is really big it can take several minutes to restore, 15 wouldn't shock me, especially if you've got a lot of recordings, videos, or channels in your lineups.

Just to get a feel for that, how big is the SQL dump file and how many lines are in it?

Thanks for the info. I don't remember how long I waited, but it was about 30 minutes if iirc. Willing to keep trying if it will help. TIA

UPDATE: OK, I ran it again and it left and it ran to completion!!! Thanks!! I must have just not waited long enough.
