I am currently using MythTV 0.25 in MythBuntu, whereas LinHES 7.2 uses MythTV 0.24-fixes. I would like to change over to LinHES, but I certainly don't want to lose my database. If I understand correctly, I cannot simply restore my 0.25 database to a MythTV 0.24 system.

Am I correct in presuming that LinHES 7.3 will use MythTV 0.25, which will allow me to transfer over my existing database? If so, will I have to wait long?

The packages that make up 7.3 are currently sitting in testing, and yes mythtv 0.25-fixes is used.
When it will be moved to release I do not know.
