I've had a mythtv box for about 6 years now and I'm seeing some random issues pop up. One is that when I do a scan for new videos in the video section I get a warning that says Code: failed to scan SG Video Hosts: Mattsmythtv pippin pippin pippin pippin if they no longer exist please remove them mattsmythtv was my machine name for my very first install with 5xx then I named it pippin with 5.5 and now it's a different name with 6.03. When I snag the my.sql file from the backup and do a search I find 1260 references to pippin, 1032 hits on mattsmythtv, and 1723 hits for my current name Gimli. My SQL is 35 KB is some of this stuff redundant, old, or crap that I could get rid of? I'm in the process of making 7.03 work if all I wanted to save was my database of recorded episodes and what shows i want to record how could I go about pulling that stuff out? And finally is it worth it? Thanks |
