After upgrading to 7.3 my root file system was 94 % full. I checked but found no runaway log files so ran
pacman -Sc to remove old packages. That took the file system back down to 84% it ran that way all week until today.

It was back up to 94% again. I ran pacman -Sc again and it went back down to 88% . I do notice that the log files are larger than usual. I am wondering if this is part of the problem. I did a ps -ef | more and found this
Code:
root      1080     1  0 22:55 ?        00:00:00 /usr/sbin/crond -S -l info

Any idea on what's happening? What do i need to look for?

Tks

Finally figured out that it was a database problem. Errors inserting into tables spaces and other's.

I ran optimize_mythdb.pl after that ran I went from 89% to 83%. Magic does happen! Since running
optimize_mythdb.pl space has stablized at 83% usage.
