Finally made the plunge from 7.4 to 8.x on a permanent basis. I did a 'pacman -Syu' after upgrading to 8.0 and my 'about' menu entry says I am running 8.1. Do I need to use the CD to upgrade to 8.1.1? What are the differences between 8.1 and 8.1.1?

Can we expect to see 8.2 and/or Myth 27.1 (or greater) anytime soon? Just asking.

8.1 and 8.1.1 was a minor change for install, there are no differences for already running systems.

MythTV .27.+ is hung up with the testing repos.
Just today I posted a script that would allow an update from the testing repos but it's a use at your own risk sort of thing.

For a release of 8.2 the ISO creation process needs to be updated. I don't know when work will begin on that.
