Awhile back MythWeb had a Remote control instead of the keyboard, or maybe there was both I can't remember. Anyway several releases ago it went away. I am wondering if it's possible to bring it back? I found this on the web. Can just drop the files into the /data/srv/httpd/mythweb/modules/remote directory? What should I do with the files that are there now? |

Here is what made that web page work. https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Frontend_control_socket I used to have Mythmote installed and I just confirmed it still works with R8.3 https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... mote&hl=en I just tested "Remote for MythTV" it did not work for me. |

Thanks matt! I had also tried "Remote for MythTV" didn't work for me either. Unfortunately I'm using an iPhone oso Mythmote is not an option  I use the browser on my phone, and get to my mythweb with that. That's why I was looking at the Mythweb approach. |

Take a look at MythRemote, it is an iPhone app that I have used, I just did a quick check and it is working with 8.3. It works on an iPad as well, but is an iPhone app. |
