What files & db settings need to be tweaked when renaming/iping a LH server? I Made a clean 8.3 System and named it B with an IP of IP2 and then restored a backup of system A that had an IP of IP1. I have added B to /etc/hosts as A but I am running at least one issue that I know about where something is complaining that B is not found. xymon: Func Can't find any minions matching B. (red) |

For xymon ip addresses, on your master backend, take a look at: Code: /home/xymon/etc/hosts.cfg it should look something like: Code: title primary server 127.0.0.1 mbe # bbd func http://localhost/ title slave_backend 192.168.1.14 mediaroom_sbe #func 192.168.1.15 gbr_sbe #func 192.168.1.8 mbr_sbe #func where mbe is the actual name of your master backend, B in your example. |

Did not know about the change name script, but now I do. I think i would have changed the mysql tables directly is the tables where no correct. |
