tl:dr - What's the best option for installing RetroArch http://www.retroarch.com/ and PCXS2 on my LinHES system? They both appear to be in the Arch repository: https://www.archlinux.org/packages/comm ... retroarch/ https://www.archlinux.org/packages/mult ... _64/pcsx2/ Can I just add the Arch repository to pacman.conf, or is that a Bad Idea and I need to build from source per here: http://www.linhes.org/projects/linhes/w ... ES_Package Background: I've been getting into retro gaming with my daughter, and I while I know there's MythGame, I loaded RetroArch on an older Windows laptop to try it out and fell in like with it. Now, I'd like to consolidate everything on the mythbox if possible. |

Adding the arch repo to pacman.conf is a very bad idea and can quickly get you into a mess. You can try downloading the package and installing it with pacman -U but you will likely run into dependency issues. It would be best to build it. |

Understood about the Arch repo, and will try building from source. Thanks! |
